Hi, I’m Karo.
I started this community in January 2021 to share how mindfulness has transformed my life.
I am originally from Leipzig, Germany but live in Stockholm, Sweden.
Before that, I lived in China for 5 years and traveled around the world for over a year — which truly was the best time of my life. 🌎
Since I left my home in Leipzig 8 years ago, I made a full 180-degree change.
I went from
- passive receiver ➡️ active creator of my life
- shopping victim ➡️ minimalist
- meat lover ➡️ plant-based
- completely unconscious ➡️ mostly conscious
- cynical ➡️ truly content and happy
- mindless consumer ➡️ low-waste and conscious living

I needed to move to the other side of the world to recognize how I was living my life made me miserable.
When I connected with my authentic self, I turned back into who I truly was: kind, compassionate, and happy.
I am still far away from being 100% conscious, but mindfulness has changed my life and I want to share everything I learned and will learn with you to make this world just a little bit kinder, happier, and more compassionate. ❤️✨
